About ALDA
2023 — The Beginning
ALDA was founded in the UAE, inspired by the natural freedom and understated beauty of the Seychelles. Rooted in self-acceptance and honest femininity, the brand began with a clear intention: to create swimwear that adapts to women, rather than asking women to adapt to swimwear.

The First Collection
ALDA launched with a small, considered swimwear collection focused on timeless silhouettes, adjustability, and comfort. Signature prints inspired by Seychelles sunsets and landscapes quickly became part of the brand’s visual identity.

Growing Presence
Within its early stages, ALDA achieved retail placement in two stores in the Seychelles and one in the UAE, marking an important step in bringing the brand closer to its island roots and regional audience. The brand was also featured in local newspapers and What’s On Dubai, increasing its visibility and recognition.

Design Evolution
As the brand evolved, ALDA expanded beyond swimwear to include a beach dress, designed to transition effortlessly from shore to everyday wear. The collection also introduced ALDA’s first cotton bikini, made using biodegradable cotton to enhance breathability and comfort — reflecting a deeper focus on women’s well-being and thoughtful material choices.

Refinement & Rebranding
ALDA entered a new chapter with a refined rebrand, elevating its visual identity and language while staying true to its core values of simplicity, authenticity, and quiet confidence. This evolution reflects the brand’s natural growth and commitment to timeless design over trends.

Looking Ahead
ALDA continues to grow intentionally — creating in small batches, exploring responsible materials, and designing pieces that support freedom, confidence, and self-expression at every stage of a woman’s journey.
